Hi there,
I'm Gabi.
A Certified Practising Speech Pathologist working across Melbourne with children, adolescents, and young adults, and the families, schools, and clinicians around them.
I hold an Honours degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney, where my research thesis revising the Pragmatics Profile was published. The experience shaped the way I think about practice: communication is meaningful when it works in real life, not just on a clinic worksheet.
My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based assessment and intervention, with a focus on functional outcomes across educational and everyday contexts. I work with clients aged approximately four years and older, including individuals with autism, intellectual disability, ADHD, dyslexia, and language-based learning differences.
I have a particular clinical interest in school-aged and adolescent language, literacy, and social communication, including the higher-level language skills that impact academic participation and peer relationships during the years they matter most.
Alongside my one-on-one practice, I conduct ADOS-2 assessments in conjunction with paediatricians as part of multidisciplinary autism evaluation.
